3. Other Business

  1. From 1st January 1999 it is possible to pay your EPF membership in EURO - the fee is 200EURO. It is now cheaper for those member nations wishing to send money by bankers draft to send it in EURO.
  2. The following Members have yet to pay the EPF Membership Fee for 1999: AUT, DEN, GBR, ICE, POL, SVK, SUI, LIT, EST, BUL, POR, GEO, BLR and CYP. Providing payment is received in January, the fee is 400DM or 200EURO. From February onwards, a fine of 5DM is payable for each month overdue - please ensure that your Federation pays by the end of January.
  3. The conflict between Austrian and French Federations has been resolved. During the European Masters Bench Press Championships in Austria, the organiser claimed that some French participants did not pay for the banquet. The French Federation was only been able to produce 7 receipts for the 11 members attending the meal. The French have now payed the Austrian organiser for the outstanding 4 tickets and the EPF considers this matter to be closed.
